INTERNATIONAL DATA SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
INTERNATIONAL DATA SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
The International Data Science Olympiad (IDSOL) is an annual global competition challenging students and recent graduates to practically apply data science and artificial intelligence from first principles to real-world challenges, themed around the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Unlike a hackathon or case competition, students and schools bring their best cumulative work to the Olympiads, but many also start from scratch.
With hundreds of youth from dozens of countries expected to be represented across hundreds of academic institutions, IDSOL 2025 provides ample networking opportunities to forge friendships and make meaningful connections with a plethora of potential partners in government, NGO, and industry.
Gain understanding for what "data science & AI" can and cannot do
Build relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders
Design & develop impactful things rooted in reality
Showcase your abilities and shine on the world stage
*a contestant may be attached to more than one team (1+ team may have the same human)
**a team may be attached to more than one project (1 team may be working on many projects)
***a project must be attached to a team (the project competes, not the team, not the human)
