In addition to the 12 international medals to be awarded at IDSOL 2025, there are also school medals for top teams of each school, as well as awards of recognition for categories and quality of projects. The international medals shall be awarded at the Award Ceremony on 31 October 2025. The other accolades shall be sent directly to the awardees as verifiable digital credentials.
For each competition and stream, the projects with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest scores are awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, respectively.

Educators who demonstrated an outstanding level of commitment and dedication to the schoolers and students under their care shall be awarded an Exceptional Educator Award. For all levels of academic institutions.
Across both Olympiad competitions, the projects with significant scores are awarded an Award of Distinction (AoD) or an Award of Merit (AoM). AoM and AoD awardees receive interviews from companies for internships and jobs from the KBI network of companies.
Award of Distinction (AoD): for any project with a score over 90%
Award of Merit (AoM): for any project with a score over 75%
Additionally, with consent from the team, any project that has written a whitepaper will be submitted to an academic journal and published in the KBI Library.
Across both Olympiad competitions, the projects most effectively addressing a specific Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of the United Nations (UN) are awarded the UN SDG Excellence Award for that SDG.
