The following parameters define what is considered eligible for the IDSOL competition. Ineligibility results in disqualification for the particular competition.
Junior Olympian is a registered, valid contestant of any age who is enrolled in good standing at an academic institution, studying at the UNESCO ISCED Level 1-3 (“schooler”).
Olympian is a registered, valid contestant of any age who is enrolled in good standing at an academic institution, studying at the UNESCO ISCED Level 4-8 (“student”) or recently ceased being a student for any reason (e.g. graduation, hiatus, sabbatical, or work), where recency is defined as within three (3) years of cessation.
Junior Olympiad Team is a registered, valid group of contestants that is comprised of strictly only schoolers.
Olympiad Team is a registered, valid group of contestants that is comprised of either only students or a mix of schoolers and students.
Junior Olympiad Project is a registered project delivered by a Junior Olympiad Team.
Olympiad Project is a registered project delivered by an Olympiad Team.
Junior Data Science Architecture Competition is the competition arena for Junior Olympiad Projects that prepared and submitted valid materials according to the submission parameters for the Solutions Architecture (ARC) Stream of JIDSOL.
Junior Data Science Engineering Competition is the competition arena for Junior Olympiad Projects that prepared and submitted valid materials according to the submission parameters for the Engineering (ENG) Stream of JIDSOL.
Data Science Architecture Competition is the competition arena for Olympiad Projects that prepared and submitted valid materials according to the submission parameters for the Solutions Architecture (ARC) Stream of IDSOL.
Data Science Engineering Competition is the competition arena for Olympiad Projects that prepared and submitted valid materials according to the submission parameters for the Engineering (ENG) Stream of IDSOL.
